Unfortunately I was too late this morning for the dark red sky. But this one is not bad after all.

Summers Dying Breath

The last summery images this year. Autumn is coming and the leaves are beginning to fall.



Chestnut figures, pressed fallen leaves and pumpkin soup will surround us in the next season.

And between all these vines on a old stone sink there was this little guy enjoying the evening sun. I had just enough time to take this picture, then he ran off.

The last weekend I went to the ruin of Pfeffingen to take some pictures.
This is the old bridge that led to the main part of the castle.

We used to call this tower the witch-tower.

The first time alone on the slide

I used to play on this playground when I was a little boy. Back then the playground was completely different. It was a sand pit without a slide. Now it is really nice to play with the kids.

School Pfeffingen

I went to school here. A very nice building. It hasn't changed a lot. It has got a new main entrance door (not visible on this picture) and a new tap on the front side. that's about it. I don't know what happened inside in the last 20 years.

Way to the Klus (a small valley) between Aesch and Pfeffingen

We used to play here when we were kids. Now my kids will play here.

This group of blue haired ladies was seen in the tent near the electro / minimal area. The devil in the middle will get married someday in October.

Pfeffingen BL in the mist

This is on my way to work in this morning. It's almost as every other morning this time of year but today I missed the bus and had to wait for the next one for a half an hour. So I decided to go for a walk around Pfeffingen BL and take some pictures:

big wasp spider in Arlesheim BL

this cute little spider was seen in Arlesheim BL (Switzerland)

I have never seen a spider that size around here. So I headed back home and searched the internet for a description: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wespenspinne (German, the English article is not that detailed). And found out that this big Spider is acctually quite common in this area. For all the arachnophobic out there: this spider is harmless.
